SBS sent through this video of Daniel Morrish hitting up a couple local parks and spots…
EVENTS // DIRT AND NOTHING ELSE 2013
With the blessing of Dane Searls’ family, the dudes out at Back Bone will be throwing the second annual Dirt And Nothing Else jam; paying tribute to the legend that was Dane Searls. From all accounts, last years jam was one of the best riding days all attendees had experienced. This year is sure to be just as badass. It’s all going down on the 23rd of November, which is still a way off, so get planning! We will keep you posted with more info as it comes to hand, but in the meantime, enjoy the video from last years jam.

VIDEO // ULVERSTONE MIX
Tassie crew from Ulverstone drop a mix form there local park along with some spots around the area…
VIDEO // ALEX CARROLL 2013
Alex Carroll, from Melbourne, is 17 and has a pretty deep bag of tricks. There’s a bunch of good footage in here of local parks and spots, I can’t get into the music but the riding more than makes up for it with some switch whip lines and big moves. When I was 17 I was grinding foot high benches, progression is crazy..

NEW PARK // GEELONG INDOOR
With winter well and truly here since it basically hasn’t stopped raining for 3 days in Melbourne it’s a good time to trip down to Geelong and check out the new indoor park in Geelong. Looks pretty unique, concrete indoor park? I couldn’t find info on session times for bikes but more photos and info here and here…
VIDEO // CHRIS COURTENAY 2013
Chris definitely went in hard for his new video. Plenty of tech, yet big park riding, but the standout clips for me was that ridiculous whip gap at Runaway Bay, and the 360 whip to no hander.

TRIPS // COLONY ‘FOLLOW THE LINES’ TOUR
A huge chunk of the Colony team will be trekking from North Queensland, down the East Coast. The trip kicks off in Maryborough next week, and finishing up at Back Bone in Canberra almost two weeks later. There are plenty of shop stops, and they will definitely be hitting up a heap of parks along the way. If you see them, be sure to say hey!
