GIVEAWAY // RIDE, FILM EDIT AND WIN
We’ve teamed up with Primary Threads for what I think is a dope contest! You have 8 weeks to film and edit a web video and both the rider and filmer/editor of the winning edit will get a fresh pack of primary and Focal gear along with a complete pro filming board setup for the filmer to use in future projects! Sounds good to me!
– Just be sure to download the intro title to place at the beginning of your edit
– Then upload it to either Youtube or Vimeo and title the video PRMYXFP (riders name here)
– Video’s must be atleast a minute and a half long
– Email entries to cooper@focalpointbmx.com
– Judge on filming, editing, riding and overall vibe of the video so it won’t necessarily be the “best” rider that wins, it’s a collaborative effort.
– This is open to entries Worldwide so get out there make it happen!
– Entries close August 25th

EVENTS // FOX BMX PRO
The guys over at Fox Australia are collaborating with Rampfest to present this; the Fox BMX Pro going down on Friday July 19. Major park contests have been lacking for a while, which, combined with the $3000 prize purse will ensure this goes off. Check the flyer below for full details, and the confirmed rider list after the jump.
EVENTS // THE PARK GRAND OPENING
Geelong’s incredible new indoor park, simply titled The Park will be having a gran opening celebration this Sunday. This place has something for just about everyone; with a 90ft wide vert ramp, a concrete street plaza, an indoor mini mega and a mini ramp with pool coping. The only catch being that plastic pegs are a must. For more information, head over here.

Jason Petersen cooked this one up from the last month of footage he’s collected. The hang 5 to fakie hang 5 got me stoked! If I was to constructively criticise it I would say to remember Fisheye ON, Steadyshot OFF, but other than that this crew definitely knows how to have a good time and enjoy BMX for what it is!
