Since there are alot of riders getting digital SLR’s for filming these days, I thought it might be cool to share some settings that might make your like a little easier.
These settings are for Canon 7D footage exported out for web without any real compression. You can use the Vimeo export settings (from the pre-set menu) aswell which will shrink the size a fair bit but the quality is still good, but if you are exporting a fairly short edit then you should be fine using these settings.
We shoot in NTSC but if you have shot in PAL, just change the preset to the frame rate that you have shot at. If you are not sure and you are using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 just look under a clip file name (circled in the screenshot) in the project you are working on and all the info you need will be there.
