VIDEO // OLE KRISTIANSEN SYDNEY JIBS
Ole Kristiansen is a Norwegian expat, doing a semester abroad here, in Sydney. After randomly meeting him at Dulwich Hill on a weekday, I’ve shared a bunch of rad sessions with this dude. He’s one of the most genuinely positive riders I’ve met in a long time. He and Nick Hodgskin got together and churned […]
EVENTS // MACQUARIE FIELDS JAM
After the raging success of the Burgh Jam and the Halloween Jam, a third instalment to the Sunday Sydney Sessions was inevitable. This one will be going down on Sunday December 14, as a twilight event at the hugely diverse Macquarie Fields skatepark in South West Sydney. This place has something for everyone, and it’s […]
VIDEO // TOM STRETTON 2014
This is a little belated, but it’s definitely worth another look. Tom Stretton is a front wheel technician, from tight, weird tranny all the way to the streets, he’s always got something creative going on. [youtube width=”700″ height=”350″]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxdVuI0soL8[/youtube]
VIDEO // BIGGER THAN YOURS
South east Queensland’s seemingly infinite stockpile of park destroyers has delivered yet another amazing video; with Chris James being the subject. Chris isn’t someone I’m familiar with, but it’s also not one I’ll be forgetting in a hurry. It kicks off with a gnarly roll in from Elanora’s full pipe and doesn’t slow down. This […]
VIDEO // BURGH JAM
The Sunday Sydney Session series has started, and the Burgh Jam got the ball rolling this past Sunday. Borne out of a desire for more events between Matt Holmes, Josh Druce and myself, and put together by Drucie, it kicked ass. Rad turnout, BBQ and a fun concrete park on a sunny Sunday arvo; roll […]
VIDEO // JAKE ANDERSON LOCAL BMX
W.A based FNQ transplant Jake Anderson has just been added to the Local BMX store’s family, and produced the obligatory welcome video. Though I’m sure Jake would’ve been more at home flowing through a set of trails, he made the most of some of West Aus’ best concrete, with stylish bowl lines throughout. [vimeo width=”700″ […]
EVENT // SUNDAY SYDNEY SESSIONS
This weekend will be the first of a series of jams going down in Sydney over the warmer months. Kicking it all off at the Helensburgh skatepark this Sunday the 28th, with long jump, high air and all sorts of mini events, it should be one hell of a good time. For more info, head […]
VIDEO // LEVI JACKONIA IN HELSINKI
Cairns all terrain lord Levi Jackonia is currently on his annual holiday to Helsinki, Finland. Together with Andre Jesus, he smashed out this quick piece at a local park for Subvert BMX. [vimeo width=”700″ height=”300″]https://vimeo.com/105643191[/vimeo]
