PODCAST // THE HEAD ANGLE – MATT HOLMES
The Head Angle podcast has been in the works for a little while, and the first episode just dropped. This one features Tom Boorman interviewing 2020 head honcho and legend of the Aus scene Matt Holmes. Matt goes into his early days with BMX, getting the magazine together, wrapping up the print side of things and loads […]
VIDEO // JAYDEN FONG & MATT SIMPSON
Jayden Fong and Matt Simpson get some laps in at one of Western Sydney’s most fun plazas. Looking forward to seeing more from these dudes!
VIDEO // CHRIS JAMES IN CALIFORNIA
I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while, and it did not disappoint! Chris James made the most of his time is California juicing the hell out of transitions of all varieties, hitting big lines and getting loose. Some big moves in this one, but the last line is especially wild.
VIDEO // RICKY CATANZARITI
Ricky Catanzariti visited a bunch of Californian mainstay spots on a recent Colony trip, hence the ‘Tourist Attraction’ title. Rick looks at things through his own lens a little, though, so this is definitely an interesting watch!
VIDEO // ANDY BUCKWORTH
Andy Buckworth has been one of our biggest exports on the international contest scene, but has been noticeably absent for the past year. In this video by Scott Greentree, Andy discusses his injury, recovery and plans for the future, between doing some pretty wild shit at Red Hill trails.
VIDEO // THE ANCHOR TRIKE
Like deliveroo, but instead of shitty food and underpaid staff the Anchor lads have delivered a DIY on the go. Taking the humble kicker, and attaching it to a recovered trike, the dudes pedal the trike around Melbourne and get pretty loose! Beechy is something else.
VIDEO // WELCOME BACK TO HELL
Hell on Wheels recently moved from their well-tenured location on King St in Newtown to a bigger space out near the iconic Leumeah Skatepark. To celebrate, Tom threw a jam and premiere party at the new spot this past Saturday. It was a Hell of a time watching the dudes sprint through an industrial carpark […]
VIDEO // ALEX HIAM RAW CUT
Alex’s video from last week is sure to be one of the highlights of 2018, but there was a bunch more that went into making it. This raw cut shows bails, second angles and leftovers, which are all pretty amazing. There are a few good little tidbits in here for sure.
