Geelong (VIC) shredder Chris Finnigan answered a bunch of top fives which you can check out here. After the bump you can also view a web edit of Chris and also Renalds from about five months ago just incase you missed it or feel like having a second look.
Amigos Jam Photo’s.
Chances are we will do something in the next issue on this jam, here’s a couple photo’s that I did shoot, I was having to much fun riding the street section so not much was captured, it was an awesome day and a boat load of people came, thanks to everyone that helped organise the day, came to the event and all the sponsors, well done! Check a couple more photos after the bump.
Animal Prem.
Last night was the premiere night for the new Animal DVD, I went to to the Crossley Cycles night, it was super fun and the DVD is awesome. We are watching it again right now. Thanks to Richard and the Crossley Cycles guys for putting on the night.
Civic Jam.
I spotted this over on the Backbone site, it’s an edit from the recent Civic Jam they had a couple weeks ago, pretty enjoyable. Edited by B-Dog.
Other news, Dishonour have a new hat and zip up coming out, check out their site for more info.
Facebook Friday…
For something random I thought I would scope the Focalpoint facebook page and see what I can come across of other riders around Oz shredding and post up a nice photo each Friday. See how it goes…
This first photo is of Charlie Sullivan from Doncaster in Melbourne, shot by Luke Dalrymple.
Mini Kills It.
I shot photos with Mini a couple of weeks ago and noticed he definately isn’t slowing down, check this edit and you will understand.
The School Library Mission…
The school libraries mission has been a work in progress for quite a while now, and it’s probably one that will never end. I never imagined that it would be this hard to get in contact with schools, just to see if they’re keen on having the mag in their libraries. We’re getting there though with a lot of positive responses.
At the moment, there are 20 schools across Australia on the list and all 20 will be receiving the mag for free. My target is to get that list up to 50 before the year is out!
I know school isn’t much fun, especially when you want to get out there and ride, but at least now you might be able to pop into the library and check out the latest issue of the mag!
The main reason that Focalpoint is doing this is to keep this lifestyle that we all love and share in growing for future shredders. If one dude picks up the mag at their school and gets stoked on BMX, then it’s all worth it!
In a couple of weeks, I will post up the list of schools that will be stocking the mag, as well as keeping you all posted as more and more schools come on board. Also, don’t forget to tell your school librarian to keep an eye out for the email…
This photo has nothing to do with libraries but everyone in it is loving life!
