This is something I’m pretty excited about, and I feel is getting back to Focalpoint’s very roots. We’ve collaborated with Novacastrian Kris Humphries to produce the aptly titled Novacastria; which is to become a bi-weekly feature shedding some light on the Newcastle scene via videos of sessions at parks around the area and in the streets, as well as a photo feature coinciding with the final release. The first installment was filmed a few weekends ago at Wallsend skatepark, featuring Layne Gordon, Kane Drew and Luke Pickering, whom all put the ledges and rails to good use.
