Gorak from Riding Way just posted a piece up about how he remained sober for 100 days straight. Being straightedge myself I am always interested with things such as this. I am not one for preaching, each to their own but it’s pretty awesome to see someone overcome something that was having a negative impact on their life…

“Well, I still don’t think I had a real problem, but I was an alcoholic. The solution, based on how I work things out, was to convince myself I needed to stop. See, if I want to do something, I’ll do it. As I said before, I do what I want. I just needed to convince myself that this is what I want. I couldn’t rely on other people telling or asking me to do it, I would naturally want to rebel against them, so I made up the 100 day challenge for myself.”
