Canberra all round nice guy, shredder and Backbone employee Tyson Jones-Peni went down hard on the weekednd trying a serious gap at Woden park. Wishing all the best for a solid recovery mate. I will quote the words from the Backbone site…

“Some heavy news went down late Sunday arvo with Back Bones number one son Tyson Jones-Peni taking a real nasty crash resulting in a fractured Skull ,Eye socket and Nose.
Tyso was going for an Insane gap that he has had eyed up for a while now, From a small banked tranny into the deep end of the Bowl at Woden skate park, He pulled it no problem 3 times but unfortunately got it wrong 4th time around. It is a seriously insane gap and not the type of thing you wanna crash on.
Tyso is now recovering in Hospital and is doing really good considering the serious of his injuries he is as tough as they come so Im sure he will be back and shreddin real soon. We wish him the speediest of recoveries.”
