I’ve been following Oli’s Flickr feed for a while now, and he recently added a whole bunch of 35mm analogue images to his account which I was very excited to see. In a digitized era, the use of film has just about died. Largely due to the instant gratification of the digital medium the analogue process will soon die out, especially due to the lack of understanding that most young photographers have about the chemical medium. Seeing this neglected medium being used by with great results by a young artist is amazing to see. Oli’s got a good eye for strong composition and excellent lighting in BMX and skate photography, so it’s well worth a scroll through the pages of his Flickr. Can’t wait to see more mate, keep ’em coming!
