Dishonour just released their new drop and I am hyped on this one as I love long sleeve button ups! We hit James with a quick Q&A about the latest release so have a read of that aswell after the jump…

How long have these been in the works?

A long time man. I first started working on a button-down shirt, like 2 years ago now. I’ve been working on this specific button-down for the last 10 months.

Not too many brands out there do button ups did you have much trouble getting these sorted?

Yeah man, button-downs aren’t the easiest piece to produce. I found it really tough actually. I went through four or five different companies before I found one that had the right balance between quality and price. The other big issue is that, to get a nice pattern, you’ve got to dye your own yarn. Nobody will dye yarn for like, 50 shirts. So it took me a while before I felt really confident in what I was doing. I didn’t want to end up with a bunch of shirts that I couldn’t sell!

Any features about these bad boys you want to share?

Well I guess to start with, they’re made from a real nice, mid-weight flannel. Perfect for the Australian climate, not gonna choke you out. I think the cut is pretty much perfect – slim and tall. Width is true to size, length is about +1 size.

Detail wise, there’s a Dishonour logo embroidered on the right pocket. And there’s a woven ‘d.’ tag on the wrist, plus another woven logo label on the bottom of the shirt. Usual woven tag on the collar and care labels and all that too.

What sizes and colours do they come in?

Available in small through x-large, colours are red/blue/white and blue/brown/white.
