For a long time, shooting from above was something I thought would be cool to bring into BMX. Starting with a few screen grabs from self filmed clips, I quickly saw how I could incorporate shadows and shapes into the photos to add depth and make the rider pop. Now I am constantly trawling through google maps, trying to find interesting shapes and patterns to shoot, along with thinking of who and what trick would suit the spot. I really enjoy taking photos I have thought about for weeks, I find the end result is similar to the enjoyment I would get if I landed something on my bike that I had thought about for the same amount of time. Thanks for checking out the gallery and thanks Coops for letting me share these on the site! Cheers, Troy.
