We spent 9 days in Melbourne and had the opportunity to meet some new faces along the way. I spent the majority of the time behind my camera and got a couple of clips along the way… we didn’t have access to cars so we were bound by the city and pedal power and luckily for us the trip had no major injury based casualties – until next time lads.

I met Pat Freyne last year when I came to Melbourne for a short stay, this time round he had us sorted from start to finish. Thanks my dude - we all really appreciated it. Here's a couple from Docklands.

Bryce Ruksenas is relentless and always so motivated to make something of a spot. This makes my job easy because I know he is always keen to shoot something.

Josh and Mitch are something else, you can always count on random outbursts from the both of them, whether its throwing bananas at the hostel wall or wrestling under a piss drenched bridge they'll be the ones to look out for. Josh re-did the icepick at Carlton 5 times for me because I couldn't take a good photo. Not sure too many people would commit a wall ice over and over just for a cool photo.

Sam Thomas has only been rolling around with us for a short amount of time, he's easily one of the most underground riders in Perth.

Brett Pearson loves a bit of tranny. He absolutely roasted this quarter

I met Jimmy Pease out in Docklands one of the days I was away from the rest of the guys. I don't think I've seen a guy with such a huge grin on his face at all times.

This spot was dark and hard to ride, after a bit of time Crido (Luke Cridland) rolled away with a seamless line. As usual he thought it was lame and we all loved it. Haha.

Rex Cubic has so many tricks under his belt its unbelievable, from some of the most OG street moves to touching the roof on a sketchy vert wall - yew!

I want to say a big thanks to my boys for making it the trip it was, to Pat, Coops and Polly for showing us around and all the other Melbourne locals for hanging out and drinking with us. I also want to say thanks to Local BMX for hooking up some of the boys and for keeping us all rolling. Hopefully we will see some of you guys over in the west for some more good times in the future. Cheers all, James.
